In 2001, Statesville Haunted Prison (R.I.P.) cast member Uta Goertzen told John LaFlamboy that she was interested in filmmaking. John promptly bought a consumer-grade camcorder and Uta began documenting the day-to-day workings of Statesville. The result was "Thank You For Coming: Burn in Hell", the first video documentation of Statesville Haunted Prison and what would later become Zombie Army Productions.
