Wickedly Whiting Coming to Whiting, IN This October

The dead have risen, and they’re hungry. Consumed with a ravenous desire for human flesh, they are everywhere. All they do is kill, and the people they kill awaken, infected with whatever it is that is causing the newly dead to rise. Society is crumbling. The streets are in ruins. Your own family and friends may have joined the ranks of the undead. And they’re coming right at you…

Join us in Whiting, Indiana for the first ever Wickedly Whiting Festival! Located 17 minutes south of the Chicago Loop, this Halloween festival is the first of its kind in the region. Enter the festival through a block long apacolyptic scene…but be careful as you do, Zombies are everywhere! Once you get through, hopefully alive, you will be relieved to discover that you are inside the festival, a festival of food, fun, and shopping!

Many types of comfort foods await, perfect for a fall day.

Scare addicts can shop the Market of the Living Dead for all types of halloween, sci-fi & horror items. Artists display their dark talents, and people create monsters right before your eyes!

There’s a stage for the young…and the young at heart…with magicians, reptiles, and costume contests. As dusk settles, take a seat for hallowen themed movies.

Grab a drink in the “Boos and Brews” haunted beer garden and enjoy live local music, dancing, friends, and fun!

Wickedly Whiting is organized by the people who have brought Pierogi Fest to the Region for over 20 years. Pierogi Fest is nationally known and plays host to over a quarter million visitors every year. The WRCOC has proven they can throw a fest, and we would love you to be a part of our newest endeavor. We are working hard to “knock ’em dead” by getting “Wicked” in Whiting!
