My son and his friend went through this attraction with me. $20 per person, $25 per person to move to the head of the line. We were able to walk right in..after watching a girl dance with fire as we stood shoulder to shoulder waiting to RUN THROUGH the haunted house. Nothing like having creatures screaming at you to RUN through! We parked at the parking garage on the other side of the expressway entrance. From garage and walk through the attraction and back to the car, we were done in 33 minutes. We went through Statesville last year and many of the scenes and props looked to be from last years set there. For being at Navy Pier, we were all very disappointed! We gave it a rating of 5. One good thing we noted was there were more than 20 point of personal interaction from creatures within the attraction.

Worth every bit of the admission fee. The production value of this Haunted House is amazing. I highly recommend it. The actors are all very fun and convincing. Fantastic for people who like jumps and scares and ALSO horror films. Great gore, great fun!

Best haunted house I've been to! Very realistic props. The actors were wonderful, very convincing. And there was a lot of variety. A lot of things you actually didnt expect. It wasnt a traditional, predictable haunted house. Whatever scares you, you'll probably find it here! I really enjoyed myself. And to the actors- VERY GOOD JOB! I'm definitely coming back. This was my Russian friend's first Halloween and I don't regret taking her here. She's off to a really good start- crying and screaming!

The Fear is a great attraction and brilliant haunted house. The props, actors, and layout of the grounds take the visitors out of their comfort zone before they even get inside the house. You're thrown into a world of dark and horrible from the moment you walk up to the ticket booth! Once inside it's made clear that you're not being brought in to become a member of the Captain's Crew... but actually food for the horrible monsters the crew have capture in their travels. Personal favorite rooms were the Werewolves and Clown rooms. Had a good scare in the Werewolf room that I did not expect. The clown actors were very disturbing and got into my head a little bit. All in all this is my personal favorite haunted house. I can see all the efforts, time, and energy that went into the production and I loved every minute of it!

This is one of the most well put together Haunts I've ever been to. From the time you step into the front gate until the time you leave, you will be fully entertained. Even if the actors aren't scaring you, then they are entertaining you. They have a great mix of Scary, funny, and cool that even the biggest Jerk can enjoy. For example, they have great make-up artists, live fire spinners, cleaver actors who make fun of you, and great props. Overall, it is a great experience that will force you to face your fears.

oh the fear! what to say about the fear? it has quite possibly the creepiest clowns i have ever encountered, and the medical lab pretty much blows my mind....theres just so much happening in there that it completely disorients you and makes you susceptible to the actors. drop boxes and trickey actors with great energy and character control make this one of the most entertaining houses. definitely not a young kids place, leave the brats at home folks! from the line out front all the way out the back end of a giant inflatable reptile, theres something around every corner waiting to scare the living crap out of you. what i liked bets about the fear was that the scares were deeper than just a jump out "RAWR AAH" at you, they were creepy. so many of those characters will haunt my dreams! giggles the clown out front...he is the sweetest and most terrifying thing ive ever seen!! my only problem with the fear isnt so much the houses fault, but the patrons who go through. because its at the pier theres alot of touristy traffic, and im sure thats great for business, but you get an unpleasant (see also drunk) riff raff that dont appreciate the experience. you get groups of people who stand around and try to talk to the actors (who very impressively stay in character) and hold up the people behind them....and hwne you're standing in a room long enough, you get a chance to look around and if you acclimate to the surroundings theyre less frightening. so by all means go to the fear, its a great show and well worth your time and money...

Absolutely amazing! I have never been 2 a more amazing haunt in my life! Everything about it was worth the money. The actors made it amazing. They obviously knew what they were doing and were having fun doing that. The rooms were brilliant especially the doctors lab and the clown room. They just put there hearts and souls into there performance. The make up was great and the lighting made it just super ere. I was actually scared and that is not easy 4 me. This like i said is the best haunt i have ever been to and i give it 5 stars. If you can go and check it out. It is well worth it. U will have the time of your lives!
